Moss Wood, the second oldest Estate in the Margaret River region, is a vineyard renowned for producing some of the highest quality and long lasting Cabernet, with the first Cabernet vines planted by Bill and Sandra Pannell in 1969. This Margaret River classic is controlled and elegant in style. Appearing as a deep, brick red hue, with bright condition, expressing dark and red berry aromas of blueberry and blackcurrant ; Accents of dark jube and musk subtly signal the presence of Petit Verdot. Complexity in it’s background explain pronounced notes of tar, dark chocolate and warm toasty oak. The wine’s full body is pleasantly balanced with fresh acidity and concentrated tannins making it quite taut for a Moss Wood Cabernet.

Nestled in the heart of the Margaret River, Moss Wood Winery enjoys a prestigious position within the region, renowned for its premium wines.

Determined to setup at the best possible site Bill and Sandra Pannell purchased Moss Wood land in 1969, ideal soil and a consistent and suitable climate assured by the work of Perth agronomist Dr John Gladstones in 1966 Bill and Sandra planted their first Cabernet vines.

Margaret River being one of the most isolated and pure grape growing regions, perches directly besides the pristine Indian Ocean. Viticultural techniques with constant reassessment and consistent improved research allows for continuing production of wines of the highest quality.

Orders will be available to collect from our warehouse at Lowfield Farm, Ainderby Steeple, DL7 9SD. Your order will be ready to collect two hours after placing it, available Monday to Friday until 4pm.

NEXT DAY UK MAINLAND DELIVERY – £12.50
Order before 1pm (Monday – Thursday) and receive your order the next working day. Orders placed on Friday will be dispatched on Monday for Tuesday delivery.
