More Information
Terres Cortal Sauvignon Blanc, Languedoc, France
Fresh, crisp and wonderfully refreshing, Terres Cortal Sauvignon is an appealing expression of southern French winemaking. Made from 100% Sauvignon Blanc grapes, this lively white wine comes from the Pays d’Oc IGP in the Languedoc, where Mediterranean sunshine is balanced by cooler coastal influences.
The vineyards are situated close to the Étang de Thau, an area known for its relatively cool conditions within the Languedoc. Chalky soils help preserve the grape’s natural freshness and aromatic character, resulting in a wine with bright citrus flavours, delicate floral notes and an elegant mineral edge.
Carefully harvested in the early morning to retain freshness, the grapes undergo cool fermentation before the wine is matured on its fine lees in stainless steel tanks. This approach preserves the vibrant fruit and gives the finished wine a clean, lively character.
Easy-drinking yet full of personality, Terres Cortal Sauvignon Blanc is ideal as an aperitif or alongside fresh seafood, grilled fish, salads and light Mediterranean dishes. A versatile everyday white with plenty of refreshing appeal.

So Vignerons is a small “negoce” structure, producing typical quality Languedoc wines. The company was founded by Daniel Orsolini and Claude Serra in 2005.
The Philosophy behind So Vignerons is to produce high quality, modern style of Languedoc wines at very affordable prices. This has been made possible by the long term contracts the team has signed with local growers, having Claude as the winemaker/consultant to all the growers and finally by using a state of the art bottling line.
Claude Serra, winemaker consultant, also professor at Montpellier University of Oenology is managing the viticulture and winemaking.
All the wines are vinified by Claude and come from vineyards located on specially selected “terroirs” producing characteristic varietals from this region.
