Produced from carefully selected grapes grown on the Astoria estate, Corderie is crafted to preserve the natural aromatic character of Glera. Astoria Wines is a family-owned winery founded in 1987 by the Polegato family in the Veneto region of north-eastern Italy. The estate has become an established name in the world of Prosecco, combining the area’s long winemaking heritage with modern production techniques and a distinctive contemporary style.

Corderie is produced from Glera grapes grown on the rolling hills of the Astoria estate, at approximately 120–150 metres above sea level. The hillside vineyards provide favourable growing conditions for the grapes, helping retain their aromatic freshness and natural balance.

The grapes are harvested by hand and gently pressed before fermentation in stainless-steel tanks. The wine then undergoes secondary fermentation in pressurised tanks using the Charmat method. This carefully controlled process creates its delicate bubbles while preserving the fresh, fruity and floral character of the grape variety.

The name Corderie recalls Venice’s historic rope-making workshops, giving this distinctive Prosecco a connection to the region’s cultural heritage.
