Made using the traditional Appassimento technique, the grapes are left to partially dry on the vine before harvesting, concentrating their natural flavours and creating a wine with generous fruit, depth and warmth.
A blend of three characterful local grape varieties – Primitivo, Negroamaro and Susumaniello – Calùra offers an inviting bouquet of ripe berries and luscious strawberry and blackberry preserve, complemented by seductive hints of cocoa and tobacco.
