Terres Cortal Merlot is a smooth, fruit-forward red wine from So Vignerons in the sunny Languedoc region of southern France. Made from 100% Merlot, it offers an appealing combination of ripe red-fruit flavours, gentle spice and soft, mellow tannins, making it an easy-drinking wine with plenty of charm.
Deep ruby in colour with bright red reflections, the nose reveals inviting aromas of ripe red berries and plum, complemented by subtle hints of eucalyptus and spice. The palate is generous and rounded, with soft, juicy fruit flavours and a smooth texture. A touch of French oak adds extra depth and gentle complexity, while the mellow tannins lead into a pleasantly soft finish.
