More Information

The grapes are sourced from a single block, located in the Dillons Point sub-region, of the Lower Wairau Valley, Marlborough; From a single Estate, owned by The Holdaway family. The region boasts an ideal climate for producing high quality Sauvignon Blanc, benefitting from maritime climate. The vineyards experience cool nights and warm days, essential to intensifying grape flavour. This Marlborough Sauvignon, pronounces, strong, ripe, flavours of blackcurrant and passionfruit, beautifully complemented, by soft notes of ripe lime. The bouqet, expresses aromas of, grapefruit and green kiwifruit. The vibrant and intense fruit is backed elegantly by a delightful and crisp acidity.

Lowlands Winery, the producers of pretty paddock, are owned by The Holdaways, a family who have continuously owned property, in the Lower Wairu/Dillons point sub-region of Marlborough, since 1864.

The vineyards pride themselves in working with natural systems and processes, where possible, and are fully accredited, with the Sustainable Winegrowing New Zealand. The Holdaways employ an innovative, and biologically regenerative process, when producing their grapes, improving the health of the vines, and quality of the soil.

Lowlands Winery, typically produce vibrant, dry Sauvignons, with bright acidity, and a rich texture. Their wines carry, fruit-filled and zesty character, delightfully showcasing the unique terroir and maritime climate of the Lower Wairau Valley.

Order before 1pm (Monday – Thursday) and receive your order the next working day. Orders placed on Friday will be dispatched on Monday for Tuesday delivery.
