The Yarra Valley’s late summer of 2020 endured conditions essential to the creation of Botrytis Viognier. The damp Yarra summer led to the formation of grey mould ; Guided by principles of viticulture, Soumah let nature run it’s course, as the mould took hold, the grapes gradually shriveled, concentrating their sugars and flavours. Soumah were ultimately rewarded with a delightful Viognier, a wine heavily reliant on weather and scarce in quantity. The Botrytis Viognier conveys flavourful aromas of peach, apricot and honey, whilst elegantly hinting candied ginger and spiced oak, providing beautiful balance.

Located in the heart of Victoria’s Yarra Valley, Soumah Wines is acclaimed for it’s refined, single-vineyard wines that magnificently reflect the Valley’s cool-climate character.

Established by the Butcher family in 2008, Soumah Wines boasts generational knowledge and rich heritage of local tradition and dedication, crafting wines that capture the charm of Northern Italy, infused with the distinct provenance and elegance of the Yarra Valley.

Orders will be available to collect from our warehouse at Lowfield Farm, Ainderby Steeple, DL7 9SD. Your order will be ready to collect two hours after placing it, available Monday to Friday until 4pm.

FREE STANDARD UK MAINLAND DELIVERY
Free delivery for orders over £150.

NEXT DAY UK MAINLAND DELIVERY – £12.50
Order before 1pm (Monday – Thursday) and receive your order the next working day. Orders placed on Friday will be dispatched on Monday for Tuesday delivery.
